Another good experience. Tracey made everything easy from booking in through to collection. I even got a call (as promised) to let me know that the car needed additional work (only a set of wiper blades, happily). The car was all ready for me on time.

When our ambulance developed a fault with the handbrake 160 miles from base we were at a loss with what to do. Fortunately we found Golds through a Google search and were so glad we did. From the initial phone call through to the work completion, they were outstanding at all points, professional, friendly, and Covid safe at all times throughout the process. They managed to figure the issue, source the parts and get our ambulance back on the road all within a couple of hours meaning we were able to continue on with our journey and the patients that were depending on us. Absolutely outstanding and will be sure to use if in the area.

In 34 years of hiring vehicles,I've never had an issue when returning them. Yesterday,on inspection,Dawn found a faint,internal 1inch crack in the tiny reflector under the wing mirror! It would have been nay-on impossible for me to have found that on inspection when I hired it. Also,there seems to be an 'over mileage' charge now,that,apparently is new,but we find out on returning vehicle!(read the small print please!)I was distraught,first day on a potential new job,thanks alot Golds!

Many, many thanks to Lou,Steve and colleagues who literally went the extra mile to help us last Friday.We were on our way to Dover to return home to Germany when our car had an engine failure. Despite being very short staffed, repair impossible, Steve agreed to run a diagnosis . The news was not good. Urgent repair needed. We would be stuck in England with many awful repercussions. The first repair could possibly be next week ......A massive thankyou to LOU who stuck her neck out, didn't give up on us and eventually rang a garage just a few mins away. They agreed to see us, the car was repaired within a couple of hours (!!!!) and we made it home .Thankyou to a lovely team, we were so lucky to have found you .X
