Old Church Farm

We had a really pleasant stay at Old Church Farm for one night only, and I cant wait to go back again and this time stay for minimum two nights. The overall service and breakfast was excellent, we booked 4 rooms and all the rooms were full of characters and tidy with fantastic views. The location was convenient if us, very close to Bristol, Cotswolds and Bath and the Old Church Farm is much nicer than what you see in photos, I highly recommend and thank you for the great hospitality

We only had one night here but what a fabulous place. Stunning building, Beautiful location and Chris was a lovely, welcoming host. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had and cooked by Kate who we unfortunately did not meet but hopefully we will next time when we stay for longer. This small family run hotel was an excellent find. The hospitality from Christopher and the food prepared by his wife were exceptional. He was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble and he organised champagne and flowers in the room on arrival for my husbands birthday. The menu changed daily which meant you could eat in the hotel each night and experience high quality food cooked using locally sourced produce. The desserts were divine (chocolate roulade and hazelnut meringue cake) Ordering breakfast online/in advance meant you could still enjoy all the things you come to expect on a get away, but served in a safe way without the need for the buffet. The room we stayed in was spacious and elegant. A small and intimate hotel and very covid safe. We would highly recommend it!

Christopher, thank you for a lovely stay. I felt really looked after. Was there for a work do, the dinner was amazing and so was the breakfast. The room was beautiful and comfortable. And the farm is just beautiful. I will be back for sure!Linda

Superb all round experience!The Old Church Farm is a stunning (I would say boutique) hotel set in some lovely grounds. Our room was lovely as was Christopher, who manages the hotel with his wife. What they achieve is quite frankly astonishing so many thanks to both of them for making it such a pleasant stay. Great hosts who seem to go further than the norm to ensure everything is ok.We didn't have dinner, which was a real shame (in retrospect) as breakfast was to die for. Most, if not all we were presented with was home made/cooked to very high standards and delicious.We booked directly through the website and communication was excellent throughout too.Thoroughly recommend and hope to return in the future. This is an actual gem. We’d read reviews and understood the concept of our stay, but didn’t expect it to be as amazing as it was. Exceptional throughout our stay.The main host is Christopher, who greets you at the start and throughout your stay checks in on you to ensure you have everything you need. He set up the games for us outside and stayed to give us the history of the place. Our room was beautiful and airy and the food at Breakfast & Dinner were all freshly made! Whilst you’re not getting the spread you get from other 5 star hotels, it’s not a problem because you’re getting the service, a friendly face and that personal homely but luxury feel.I’d also like to add if you have anything wrong with your stay, say it whilst your there and Chris will do whatever he can to fix it. Our shower thermostat must have been broken and the water was way to hot for me and so i made a passing joke to Chris and he explained there has been issues with the shower and so he’s glad i mentioned it because i shouldn’t have to go on not enjoying any part of my stay. It was a small detail but he offered to move us to another room but also removed our drinks from the night before and offered a bottle of wine to apologies for the inconvenience. Goes to show that the stars given to this place do represent the level of service you receive.Great place to stay and getaway from the busy lives we all have and we look forward to returning.

I have stayed at Old church farm hotel on a few occasions now and would thoroughly recommend it. The historic property is full of character with spacious rooms decorated to a high standard and is located in a quiet spot with great views. It really feels like you are staying in a country manor. The owners are very friendly and accomodating and cook a fantastic breakfast. I look forwards to staying again.

Had the most fantastic weekend stay at Old Church Farm. The House is quite spectacular and in a great location.Chris our host made us feel so welcome and almost one of the family, his hosting and welcoming skills are first class.Rooms and decor are to such a high standard and so well kept with tradition.Dinner and Breakfast are a true must at Old Church Farm, the food is so fresh and absolutely delicious.We just could not fault this place and cant wait to revisit again in the very near future, it is a must.
