Stephen Lamberth's Taekwondo & Self Defence Schools have unquestionably helped me to grow in confidence. Learning martial arts at these clubs is fun and suitable for the entire family. The classes have a great atmosphere and there is a real sense of community within the schools. Highly recommend.

I have been training since march 2015, really enjoyed the entire time! Have met a load of really nice people, the classes are extremely fun and has helped me get a lot more fit and healthy.

Brilliant club, develops a young persons confidence, brings out the best in us; great family friendly oriented training with Stephen a master teacher who makes the lessons fun whilst ensuring we develop the martial arts skills and get those belt gradings.

Been training for 9 years and enjoy every session. There is a very warming atmosphere and is great for all ages, everyone is really easy to get along with and the social aspect is amazing too. Everyone helps out in the class to make the experience really enjoyable, and I have never regretted the decision to start Taekwondo. The instructor makes the sessions more enjoyable and is very supportive.

I joined in January 2017 with my 11 year-old son (couldn't quite talk my 13 year-old daughter into also joining, but that's another story) and it's been brilliant. Mr. Lamberth is an excellent instructor with a knack for teaching all ages. The lessons have a family-orientation with members from age 4 to grey beards like me. That said, you could join as an unaccompanied adult and still get a lot out it. If you're a seasoned martial artist or looking for hardcore self defense it may not be the club for you, but if you want to keep fit and get the kids into learning a martial art and the discipline and focus that comes with it, then Stephen Lamberth's TKD is perfect.

Although I belong to another club I often train with Stephen Lamberth's club. Everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful and always willing share their knowledge and help you improve.

Amazing club. I moved to Bournemouth and tried a few different clubs but none were quite what I was looking for then I found this one.It is such a friendly atmosphere and everyone is really welcoming and easy to get along with.There are a good range of classes with junior, beginner and advanced sessions almost every day of the week, which really helps when my work rota changes.The classes have quite a few participants but you don't feel left out or ignored because there are enough black belts to split into smaller groups and learn more grade relevant skills so you never feel bored or out of your depth.Mr Lamberth, the instructor is amazing at teaching and is great with young children and adults alike. He has so much experience and knowledge and always works had to cater for anyone's wants or needs.This is an amazing club and the best I have found in 10 years of practicing martial arts, the people are lovely and have become good friends who regularly send me invites to events and meet-ups outside of classes.If you are still unsure about which club to choose try this one because the first month is free.
