Been going here for over 20 years. Went tonight for a special curry. Basically undercut meat in a green weak gravy. Won't be going back.

Great range of dishes, more than expected in quantity when ordered. Tastes brilliant and wonderful wantons. My wife would eat takeaway from this Chinese every night if she could.

I was very surprised to hear that they have changed hands recently. We've been coming here for years because it was simply the best chinese takeaway around. First time trying since under new management tonight and I can honestly say the quality was comparable to before but the style and flavours are obviously different now. Personally I preferred it before the take over but that is not to say that it was bad in anyway. Just a matter of personal taste.

The only Chinese I have ever known to not have beansprouts, I ended up getting house special fried rice instead couple of the pieces of meat had a very strange taste so I definitely will not be back. If I could of given less that 1* I would of..I'm new to the area and I have tried a few different places and up to now this place is right at the bottom.

Not as good as it was before- the actual staff seemed to be rude, and it should have been a red flag that the actual place was empty on a Saturday! The recipes were totally different, and the chicken quality was very poor. Sadly we have lost a great Chinese restaurant in the area.

Sorry but the food is not up to scratch compered to previous owners. The sweet and sour sauce is vile. Sorry to say east Boldon has lost the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Will now have to look further afield from now on.

Ordered to try new menu and was very happy and surprised. House special chow mien was really tasty, much nicer than the last menu. Salt and pepper chilli chips were amazing, mixed with actual onions and peppers. House special in black bean sauce also really nice. Reasonably priced and generous portion size.
